Safe Spaces, Strong Futures in Nottingham

Our Nottingham homes, including Rise Park House, provide safe, family-style residential care with clear routines, home‑cooked meals, and personalised support that help children feel secure and understood. Through a trauma‑informed approach and a strong focus on practical life skills, we support each young person to build confidence, develop independence, and move towards a brighter, more stable future in their local community.

Rise Park House

Rise Park House is a children’s home situated in Wollaton, Nottingham, a charming and well-established suburb in the western part of the city, renowned for its rich history, picturesque surroundings, and strong community feel. One of the area’s most iconic landmarks is Wollaton Hall, an Elizabethan country house set within the beautiful Wollaton Park, which includes open green spaces, a deer park, lake, and walking trails. The area also benefits from historic architecture, including traditional cottages and St Leonard’s Church, alongside excellent local schools, traditional pubs, and convenient access to major road links such as the A52 and A610.

Rise Park House is designed to provide a safe, nurturing, and highly individualised environment for young people who may present with emotional and behavioural difficulties, including challenging behaviours. The home offers high-quality care, clear structure, and tailored routines to support troubled and vulnerable young people, allowing staff to focus entirely on the needs of the sole resident.

Our experienced team understands that many young people placed at Rise Park House may have experienced family separation, repeated placement breakdowns, abuse, neglect, or social exclusion. We recognise that young people often need support to regain control of their lives and behaviours, and we provide consistent boundaries, emotional support, and opportunities for personal development to help them move forward positively.

Children are encouraged to develop a strong sense of ownership and belonging within the home. This includes being supported to personalise their bedrooms, choosing décor that reflects their personality and preferences, helping the home feel safe, comfortable, and truly theirs.

We also place strong importance on positive experiences and creating meaningful memories. Young people are supported to take part in holidays and activities, including visits to Centrepacs, holidays across the UK, and, where appropriate and subject to individual risk assessments, international trips such as Disneyland Paris.

At times, and with the agreement of the Local Authority, Rise Park House may provide post 18 support to ensure transitions are positive, planned, and supported with suitable accommodation, helping young people avoid unplanned endings or homelessness.

Alongside Rise Park House, we are in the process of opening additional children’s homes offering solo placements. These homes will provide the same highly individualised care in a stable, low-stimulus environment, supporting children whose needs are best met through one-to-one support.

Across all of our homes, we are committed to delivering high-quality, child-centred care, with a strong focus on safeguarding, positive relationships, and helping young people achieve the best possible outcomes.
